SEA Branch Meetings

The West London SEA branch is holding a talk on Tues 22nd January at 7:00pm in St Michael’s & All Angels, Turnham Green, W4 1TX, “Our Education System – What’s Gone Wrong and How Can it Be Fixed?”. The campaigner and journalist Melissa Benn will talk about her ideas for changes a radical Labour government might make to education policy and practice

South West London SEA are meeting on Wed 30th January at 8:00pm in William Morris House, 267 The Broadway, London SW19 1SD. The theme of the meeting will be ” What should children be learning in school and how should they be assessed?” It will be introduced by Professor Ken Jones and by Jackie Schneider.

The Birmingham branch of the SEA is set to hold a Public Meeting on Tues 12th February at 7:00pm in the Council House. The theme of the meeting has been adopted as “A National Education Service: What Should It Look Like?” in discussion with Melissa Benn, leader activist and writer on education.

The annual general meeting of the South East London SEA will be held on Monday February 25 at the Lupino Room, The Florence 131-133 Dulwich Rd, Herne Hill, London SE24 0NG. The agenda will include electing a President, Chair & Treasurer. Nominations can be made on the night. The branch covers the boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark.
