Getting assessment right is, as we have seen this summer between the ham-fisted incompetence of the Conservative government and the hapless bungling of the Ofqual leadership team, crucial.
Our four speakers each offer a radical vision for a new way of assessing:
- Terry Wrigley – Research Fellow, Manchester Metropolitan University: School assessment: an ongoing crisis
- Gawain Little – NEU: Rethinking primary assessment
- Alyson Malach – Equality and Diversity Ltd: Unconscious bias in assessment (race)
- John Bolt – SEA : Last word on assessment
The seminar will be hosted and moderated by our SEA Chair, Melanie Griffiths.
Date & Time: Saturday 10 October @ 16:30-18:30
Location: Online via Zoom
